Psalm 65 is a psalm of praise, especially for the harvest. This verse made me think of fall and all the bounty it brings. This is a time of year for thankfulness. In our ladies class we just started reading the book "One Thousand Gifts" by Ann Voskamp. I have not yet even begun the book, but have been told she suggests we keep a journal of all the things we are thankful for. I think that is a great idea!
Lord, thank you for the bounty of the fall. Please help us to be mindful of all the things we have to be thankful for. Amen.
