How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”
How do people know you are a follower of God? In this passage, God is considering not going to the land of Canaan with the Israelites because of their idol worship. Moses begs God to remain with them. Without God, what would make them different? When God is with us, people can tell. We are different. If people can't tell you are a Christian...you might not be.
Lord, thank you for being with us and making us different. Please help us to clearly and honestly view our relationship with you. Amen.
