The Lord smelled a pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.
God gets us. He understands humans and the human heart. He understands our struggles. He knows we aren't perfect and he loves us anyway.
Lord, thank you for this world you have given us, for this opportunity to learn to love you and bring you glory. Thank you for loving us even though we are sinful. Amen.
